Die landwirtschaftliche Landeslehranstalt Imst – the agricultural school where our “Acting for Peace” participants will be living, listening to lectures and reflecting with their tutors and each other – is now fully ready to welcome its summer students tomorrow. The UWC flag is up, classrooms fully ready, and the weather in Imst looks quite promising today. Some of the scenery in and around our living and learning space in LLA you can see in the gallery:
- The UWC flag in the courtyard of LLA announces the UWC spirit of the following two weeks – not only to the participants, but also to the people of Imst.
- LLA is a school of many surprises – one of its specialties is a sewing program, whose products decorate several sites around the building.
- One of the classrooms that will be used during the course – all set and ready for Sunday and our first lecture by Prof. DDr. Wolfgang Dietrich (UNESCO Chair for Peace Studies).
- One of the works found in the sewing room.
- Tutors on the tour of the common space area that will be available to the participants in their free time – “Everyday I see My Dreams”
- At the welcoming, flower-embedded entrance to the LLA.
